RICHERT & OERTEL IMMOBILIEN GMBH has been operating as an owner-managed real estate consultancy since 1994. As well as in Dresden, where their head office is located, the company is also active in the economic centres of Central Germany and also Berlin.
We were commissioned to design their company headquarters in Dresden. The briefing was clearly articulated by the client: retain the ambience and details of the historical ensemble without making any concessions regarding modern working environments. Our decision to implement a moderate open-space concept required modifications to the spatial structure. And the request to integrate air conditioning, ventilation and IT technology carefully and invisibly had a decisive influence on the layout and design of the space.
